    Best movie ever seen

The critics are certainly entitled to their own opinions, and I'm not saying Frozen Empire is a perfect movie, but I can only speak for myself...and I had an absolute blast watching (and rewatching) this movie. Leagues better than Afterlife. Paul Rudd's character has an actual arc, unlike his generic goofy/charming performance in the previous film. Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray, Annie Potts, and Ernie Hudson have pivotal roles affecting the story's outcome, unlike their glorified cameos in Afterlife. The big bad is a new creation but has story-driven reasons for heading for the OG Ghostbusters HQ. The new and old characters bounce off each other, sparking the plot forward. I enjoyed this one more than any of the previous sequels, and to me, this movie is all about the enjoyment. It satisfied me. The critics make a lot of good points, but I still enjoyed the heck out of this movie.

For me it was a big step up from Ghostbusters Afterlife. The idea was there but maybe not executed in the best way

It was OK but could easily have been much better. Dan Ackroyd was actually good, while Bill Murray had maybe 2 funny lines. For most of the actors - including the ubiquitous Paul Rudd - it was an easy payday. I thought the script was silly and the CGI about average. The car is 5,000 years old already! Worth a stream but nothing you'll remember or want to watch twice.

Definitely the best modern day Ghostbusters film. Captured the old vibe quite well, though perhaps the character building was a bit rushed. Nothing ground breaking but some good fun.

Not a movie someone would want to watch if you haven’t been a fan since the beginning. It’s not a quite a funny film. It’s mainly based on solid nostalgia. For myself the nostalgia factors were enough to really enjoy this. Probably 1/3 of the script was direct quotes from GHOSBUSTERS 1-2. And the gags were taken directly from those films as well with the original ghosts. I do recommend the film if you are a fan .

I like Frozen Empire better than Afterlife as this one has more of the OG Ghostbusters and it's got more shots busting action!

Super trite. Trying to get relevant with mix of Jurassic Park, Stranger things and 80s nods that lacks any original characters or storyline. We axed it midway..toooo unoriginal. Time for SNL reruns or a Kpop drama...

STOP DISHONOURING THE MEMORIES OF IVAN REITMAN AND HAROLD RAMIS!!!! This one at least had Slimer but it was forced. Boring fight scene at the end and all the way through there was no epic-ness. This is kids playing at being heroes and it is stupid! This has been packaged as a follow on from the original 2 movies and it certainly isn’t. First one is 1984, Egon has no family. Second one is 5 years later at new years (1989-1990), Egon still has no family. This means that his daughter has to have been born in 1991 or later (I would personally say 1992) and she has a 15 year old son in 2021 when afterlife is set. This means he would have been conceived when she was 12! How is no one else talking about how disturbing that is?!? As an actual fan of the originals, I am begging you; please STOP MAKING THESE RIDICULOUS ATTEMPTS AT REBOOTING GREATNESS, IT DOESN’T WORK! You’ve destroyed the franchise more than the 2016 female version as at least that works as a stand alone with homage!
