Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

exciting and spectacular. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more!

if you like this universe you are going to like it. A lot of fights and a lot of Kong and Godzilla. Just what everyone should respect.

Great kaiju-action movie, though I wish for more Mothra involvement

This is a special effects spectacle! It’s an ok monster movie. The plot makes zero sense, and the performances are odd. Worth once if you’re into the franchise. 2.5 stars

I absolutely loved this flick!!! It was very cool to see the two kaijus working together. I will say the kaiju they were battling were kind of basic but other than that I highly recommend this flick!!

I mean, it's just another Godzilla, King Kong movie.

All in all, the film wasn't bad, but it felt more like a science fiction movie and not like one from the MonsterVerse franchise. The visual effects were, as expected, very good, but in my opinion sometimes a bit exaggerated and too much. The plot wasn't really convincing and seemed a bit strange in some places. There was just way too much going on for one movie and some things were over the top.

My son took me along to GFest this year. Had no idea how many love the genre. So I have started watching some of the movies to see what it is all about (I saw the originals in theaters as a kid). Graphics were pretty amazing. Plot was enough to keep me interested and I thought it was decent overall. The main characters were likable and pretty well acted. Worth the watch.
