Good Boys

Overall the movie delivers on its premise.

The jokes come thick and fast and they're on point, a mix of sharp, squirm and brash vibes, but it's perfectly balanced.

Some of this is fun and inventive, some of it repetitive and feeble, especially the heavy emphasis on the naivety of the protagonists and the hopelessness of their attempts at cool.

This might be my favorite studio comedy of the year.

Mostly, the story is just scant scaffolding on which to hang cheerfully crass jokes about Stranger Things, anal beads, and cocaine. But it's a winning showcase...

Good Boys is not a kids' movie but it's one of the funniest things all year...

Not pretentious at all. The movie knows it's silly and sometimes even prepares entire scenes for the mere sake of a punch line. Had some fun watching it. Full review in Spanish
