, 72% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsNever seen the drama series, but I can say Hi Ro works well as a "star-and-stripes" legal thriller parody, with something different when using the procedural genre as a facade to speak about ordinary lives and everyday goofiness. Sometimes slow, but subversive enough, legally speaking. Tasty cameo by Byung-hun Lee.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsluv the series, luv the movie
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA stretch version of the TV series with the same original cast. Being a movie, it is however way too dragging long, loose & trivial filled with excessive scenario from TV.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsalways love the series, always like kimutaku.. ^^
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starseasy going but deep..
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsMy favourite Kimura character of all time on the big screen. Not much of a plot here but the charisma that he exudes is terrific. It helps a lot too that Takako Matsu is still his sidekick.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsNot particularly good in anyway, but it's definitely enjoyable to say the least. With a cast that boasts some of Japan's most popular, it's a court room drama that doesn't take itself too seriously. There is a lot of fan service however, so it would be better if you were a fan of the TV series.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsRe watch it on cable recently, just as good as the 1st time
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsFeels like an extended TV episode without the B movie feel. It is a genuinely positive and at times typical film that is just good perfect for detective story fans.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis Kimutaku is so natural and cool. The other casts are good as well.
