Average to good hallmark movie. If you've ever had someone close to you in the military and deployed, the movie will hit close to home. Even when you're in the middle of it, sometimes it's very hard to understand the demands, the sacrifices (on those deployed and those that remain behind) the feelings of this particular situation. It's better to have loved and lost, but never to of loved at all. English poet of the Victorian era, Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1809-92) Love is worth the hurt. And don't forget it's Hallmark. There's always happy endings

In my opinion, a worthless waste of time. No connection to Christmas. A vicious mother who totalling controls her daughter's life gets rewarded with love while the daughter suffers. Ending is so very stupid
