The script and direction by prolific low-budget film-maker James Cullen Bressack do spring a few mild surprises and minor twists to spice things up. That doesn’t quite make up for the tackiness elsewhere...

I don't think I bought a second of this.

Overall, the last half-hour of the film deserves special mention for its tension-building, as all of the plot threads are brought together with a few surprises. Just don't have too high of expectations and enjoy this Hot Seat.

The disastrously awful Hot Seat is about a computer hacker trapped in a chair that's rigged with a bomb. Viewers of Hot Seat will feel like they're trapped watching another kind of bomb: this atrocious movie.

The problem with so many of these Randall Emmett productions is that their Ed Wood-level ineptitude isn’t even any fun to watch.

Silly and stupefying...it's easy to remain ice-cold toward HOT SEAT.
