I Am Vengeance: Retaliation

This movie needs a riff track. It's a bad action movie for people who enjoy mindless '80s or '90s action movies with tough guys/galls who sometimes make quips. In that regard it does what it's supposed to do. Then again, are the Fast and Furious movies not the same only with a higher budget?

The second feature of "I Am Vengeance" comes the follow up "I Am Vengeance: Retaliation" written and directed by Ross Boyask starring Stu Bennett as mercenary for hire John Gold paid to track and keep alive an ex- merc and is now an illegal gun smuggler Teague ( Vinnie Jones) with the hep of 2 others. What seems like a routine job until it was discovered Teague was ordered to be executed.

There are bad films and really bad films, this has a new category, really really bad.

Bad acting, horrible timing, stupid plot, waste of time. Just one continuous hand combat scene right after another.

Way too many fights. Got old really quick My husband walked out of the room with 7 mins to go-couldn't take it anymore

Had a good plot I liked where it was going but the acting was bad wasn't for me and it seemed to have similar events all the time

I put this one on, on a whim, while crusing through Netflix and I'll admit to having a few points at the start where I felt tempted to turn it off. But it definitely had some good moments to it, and kept me watching to the end. A few of the lead performances have some good and bad moments, but I enjoyed some of the supporting cast quite a lot. Phoebe Robinson-Galvin and Sam Benjamin were both great! Not a strong 'go watch it now', but you could do a lot worse.

I never saw the original I am vengeance movie or even heard of it so I am surprised they would make a sequel to such an obscure film. The sequel at least has a decent amount of action and cute woman but not much else. The acting is pretty bad and the movie plot is thin with no substance. Essentially its characters going from one location to the other shooting each other with endless bullets. It’s a B-movie all the way.

This movie really sums up 2020, very little story to it, hardly any content, you see a glimmer of hope, and then it's dashed at the last minute. You hope above all that things will improve and you're not wasting your time and optimism on it, But the simple truth is it's Sh*t. Time to move on and hope that the future is better, Full stop.
