I Am Vengeance: Retaliation

"Elite operative gone rogue" ... something something ... "black site facility" ... something something.

Stu Bennett (aka Wade Barrett) returns in a formulaic action-adventure sequel that plays like a replay of '80s-era direct-to-video fare.

Even before anyone watches a second of the action film I Am Vengeance: Retaliation, it's easy to see that it's mindless schlock that doesn't try to pretend that it isn't ... You can't turn noxious garbage into a gourmet meal.

British action flick has violence, swearing, strong women.

Without an interesting plot or characters to emotionally invest in, the movie is unlikely to draw in anyone other than hard-core action buffs.

Ultimately I was entertained by I Am Vengeance: Retaliation, and I'd recommend it to fans of Stu Bennett or really any fans of bread and butter action cinema.

For audiences strictly looking for some stellar fight scenes I Am Vengeance: Retaliation might be worth a watch. Otherwise you can safely skip this one.

Along with Bennett, Jones, Durden, and Robinson-Galvin the cast is basically a stunt coordinator's dream.

No, it's not very good. Neither was "I Am Vengeance." But the redeeming qualities of any C-movie are that it doesn't waste time, and gives you a few laughs in between the neck-snappings.
