I Saw the Devil

Not usually into Korean films but this one had me hooked the whole time, even with the horrible dub.

the movie was dumb logic doesn't make any sense fucked up plot!!!!

Great movie, but f***ed up.

It's a twisty cat and mouse revenge film. Gruesome and mentally heavy - the Koreans know how to serve it up.

Not only it's one of the best South Korean movies, but also one of the best movies ever made, period. Definitely not for the faint of heart though. Doesn't shy away from showing extreme graphic content, in fact, it goes above and beyond. Brutal, but necessary.

This has to be one of the best and most shocking films you will ever see. Korean films are really as good as anything you will see in the world. This is a movie about a police officer that goes rogue to torment the serial killer that tortured and killed his pregnant wife. The movie is graphically violent and disturbing , but it is good and shamefully satisfying. The are scenes that have a Rob Zombie quality. They are that disturbing. The acting by the cast, particularly, the star of the original version of Old Boy are really very good. This is a unique and original take on revenge. It will grip you from the first moment until the last. I highly recommend this one.

best serial killer/revenge/action movie ever made. Did you Dahmer made you have nightmares? not comparable at all. This will go down as a CLASSIC!

Even though I am someone who loves gore in cinema, I find gore for gore's sake disgusting. It's one of the worst movies I've ever watched, with its contrived characters, pointless brutality and cheap story.
