Great performances by Hartnett, Grillo and Leo. It's a suspenseful script with good action and violence. Dysfunctional family ties. We really liked it.

Felt this is an under rated movie. Has some really good actors, who helped make it better. I did find a few parts of it lacking, other then that it's a good movie that is worth watching if you are into this style, which isn't for everyone.

lots of holes and unanswered questions. maybe made for the european movies. they always have holes so your subconscious wont believe you were there. we only dream in 2d.

This is a decent low budget crime thriller/drama with a cool ending

Not an original plot twist or theme in the whole movie. The movie spends so much time trying to make the audience feel something for this truly psychopathic family that it forgets to tell a compelling story the audience actually wants to embrace. The script is generic and uninspired, as are the acting performances. There just does not seem to be a point this movie is trying to make.

Okay but not great. There's some pretty good character development. I pretty much hated the title character right from the first moment I laid eyes on her, and that didn't change throughout the film. In fact, this is a whole family full of scummy people. Even the teenage daughter/granddaughter has few, if any, redeeming values. The dance scene right before the demented uncle kills the stranger who witnessed him killing is kind of compelling. But it only serves to illustrate just how selfish and unfeeling he is. And what's so interesting about that? (FWIW, I saw this on an airplane.)

Good cast and acting isn't bad, but such a boring movie. The plot sucks and doesn't have much going on.

The only enjoyable element to this movie is identifying all the better movies it has stolen from. A lot of D listers working very hard to appear natural with stunted dialogue. Talking slooooow does not make it better - just longer. Watch Thief. Heat. The Town. Point Break. Anything. Skip this. And the 16 year old - 22 and looking all of it. Everything straight to on demand is designed for. I paid $3.99 and feel like I'm owed $19.99 back. Someone should tell Forsythe you chew gum - no swallowing - like a cow with cud. The film can't even decide when it's set. Pay phones, cell phones, carrier pigeons . Not sure who was worse - the writer or director. He both stunk.
