I think it had great potential. I felt like the story kept trying to trick us, so I was trying to guess the plot twist. And the reveal wasn't good enough for me, because I was focused on how the hospital scenes never made any sense. What was going on there? The dad was just wandering around the hospital for several days in regular clothes for what? As an outpatient who lives there? As an inpatient who has free range of the hospital? He was allowed to live there a whole week before surgery, even though he wasn't incapacitated? I am still confused. I have never seen this kind of patient-hospital arrangement in my life. What kind of insurance is he carrying? I thought for sure she was imagining that wacky hospital. The story needed a little work in the writing department.

Ele só se encontra na segunda parte, onde o diretor deixa correr mais a imaginação. Afinal estamos falando de amigos imaginários. Como trabalho totalmente seu, Krasinski acaba deixando muito claro suas influências: há Divertida Mente, há O Sexto Sentido, há Spielberg, há Ester Williams. O que leva o filme ficar sem foco. Cailey Fleming está muito bem no seu papel. Ryan Reynolds, por outro lado, não se encaixa bem no estilo do filme, muitas vezes. Há um lado cínico do seu humor que não bate com a fofura dos ifs. Porém, o filme acerta em alguns pontos, emocionando o público, tornando-se uma boa diversão para família.

It is a good movie but I didn’t enjoy it at the last 15 mins so we left

If is a sweet spot for a good time with the family , classic Sunday movie at home.

Super relatable and a real tear jerker to be honest. Cute movie with a cute story that seems a tad questionable regarding some storyline decisions, but overall a nice movie. Time flew and I can’t help but feel for the main character. Great movie, would definitely watch again.
