A more than worthy end to one of the greatest martial art action dramas for many a long year. A great script performed beautifully by the wonderful Donnie Yen both in terms of acting and martial arts prowess. Adkins is also superb but it's Yens movie all the way. I've absolutely adored this series of films and rank them as some of the finest martial arts dramas ever made. Absolutely superb. A unequivocal recommendation for a near faultless quadrilogy of jaw dropping quality.

Some of the voices dubbed were a bit off kilter like Fat Bo sounding like a cockney Londoner. "All together now, Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner in good ol' London Town..."

I enjoyed this one and the story it told about the IP Man's journey to San Francisco during the 1960's when Bruce Lee was just coming into his own. It also shows us the ugly side of racism at that time for the Chinese and how they overcame those obstacles with the IP Man to show them the way. Sad to see this as the last instalment for Donny Yen with the passing of IP Man, but hopefully more good martial arts stories ahead

A decent story (still full with pure evil and good people) woven by good action sequences and a beautiful ending to the series.

Despite downgrading the titular character to a passive role, Ip Man 4: The Finale presents a nuanced and mature take on racism, much to the delight of those who felt that the second instalment gave a childish representation of the issue.

"Ip Man 4" is a martial arts film that lives up to the hype and exceeds expectations. It is the fourth and final installment in the Ip Man franchise, and it is undoubtedly the most impressive. Firstly, the action scenes in Ip Man 4 are breathtaking. The fight choreography is spectacular, and it is evident that the filmmakers spared no expense in making the fights look as authentic and realistic as possible. Every move and strike is meticulously executed, and the fight scenes are both intense and exciting to watch. Secondly, the film has a strong narrative that explores themes of family, loyalty, and cultural identity. The story revolves around Ip Man, a martial arts master who travels to San Francisco to find a school for his son. Along the way, he becomes embroiled in a conflict between Chinese and American martial arts practitioners, and he must fight to defend the honor of his country and his culture. Thirdly, the performances in the film are outstanding. Donnie Yen delivers an exceptional performance as Ip Man, bringing a depth and nuance to the character that is both captivating and emotional. The supporting cast also delivers strong performances, particularly Scott Adkins as the villainous Barton Geddes. Overall, Ip Man 4 is an amazing film that lives up to the hype. It is a must-watch for fans of martial arts movies, but it is also a film that can be enjoyed by anyone who appreciates a well-crafted and engaging story. It is a fitting end to the franchise, and it is a film that will be remembered as one of the best martial arts movies of all time.

Ênfase a Vanda e Scott. Vale apena assistir? Sim recomendo. I was really impressed with this instalment! Probably the next best one after the original. Great villains and a solid Bruce Lee addition that helped ground the movie.

I am stunned that this has such high reviews. This was possibly the worst movie I have ever seen, but was so bad that it was funny.
