The film is based on a Disney ride. As a result, this movie can only be so good before it's overshadowed by the plethora of better adventure movies (Pirates of The Caribbean etc.). The Rock and Emily Blunt deliver an enjoyable and quite entertaining chemistry, with fun performances from the supporting cast that bring the ride to the big screen. It's pacing is all over the place and the film feels like it's fighting to be in both the Mummy universe, and universe of classic Disney animations. With that said, it passes the time for a movie night with the kids. But it falls short of anything other than that.

I loved it! so fun! The acting, the sets, the jungle. It all felt real.

Good entertainment, but too many snakes!

An action packed adventure but it seems there's no chemistry between Johnson & Blunt.

This movie was horrible. Who ever is giving 5 stars must not get out much. The acting was stale, the plot was absurd, and the only notable thing was me turning it off.

I really do enjoy this movie, it may not be as epic as Pirates of the Caribbean or The Mummy (which it seems to replicate) but I think it's a fun, humorous, entertaining escapade into the Amazon. My main critique is all the CGI for the bad guys, anytime there's too much CGI in a film I almost always lose interest. Also, am not a fan of some of the casting.
