It was a nice romance, loved the aesthetics and all yet the portrayal of Islam was a bit iffy. The partition was violent for everyone. Still good though, loved Zaffar and Roop.

Beautiful scenes, but terrible story line.

It's a really good movie, the scenes are beautiful and so is the story.

The movie was good! Amazing story line, lots of plot twists. HOWEVER ITS PORTRAYS MUSLIMS IN A BAD WAY! Killing people and shit? Why always the Muslims?

I loved how every character understands what respect and love means. (Except Balraj).

Booring.Not Interesting Story

Kalank missed the mark on historical accuracy and was often overwhelming with its presentation. However, there are things to appreciate about this film after putting it in the context of being a Dharma production and attempted commercial entertainer with a star cast. Alia Bhatt's performance is admirable particularity because of her ability to express emotions in her face to beautifully reflect her character. Hat's off to the cinematic and costume team for making the looks memorable for the viewer and to the director for focusing on the non-verbal chemistry of his characters. If you like the details, I recommend this film.

Not as well as we expected.

"Kalank" is easily among the most boring movies I have ever seen. While watching this movie, I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. That moment never came, and somehow a nearly three-hour movie seemed even longer. The movie is full of characters I didn't care about and storylines that are bland. The only thing I enjoyed in this movie was the songs. Everything else in the movie was deplorable. The movie is one of the most uninteresting and uninspired romance movies I have ever seen. Ultimately, there's not a doubt in my mind that this movie is in the race for worst movie of 2019.

I love the combination of love story, partition, heartbreaks and time change.
