This looks like a great movie, on Amazon prime, but it's in a foreign language. the subtitles are also in foreign language (Hindi)?

I enjoyed this movie. I am a history buff and this movies seems historically accurate, definitely from the perspective of non Islam Indians especially the warrior Sikhs here serving under the British. It does look like these Indian Sinks with some of their British military officers did a better job of fighting these wild, tribal Islam Afghan people much better than the US LGBT "woke" military did. It might not have been such a great idea to fly the LGBT homosexual Pride rainbow flag from all US buildings in Afghanistan - I didn't' see these Indian Sikhs or their British officers doing anything stupid like that. I could have used some English subtitles for us American viewers. Good film. I plan to watch other Indian films, I'm just not real big on Bollywood music videos.

The original series 21 Sarfarosh was way too brilliant for the movie. Some gimmicks in the movie was hard to digest, e.g. Akshay Kumar stabbing an Afghan at the back, a Sikh soldier would never stab anyone at the back. Second example was the PJ about F***er was cheap and the British official army back during the days of Saragarhi never used the F word. Mohit Raina in 21 Sarfarosh was simply amazing and was a trend setter and even stalwart like Akshay Kumar could not meet Mohit's brilliance.

This movie was great; the sub titles held my attention which the movie did. I like watching foreign movies as you see other cultures in their view. I knew the Sikh's were warriors but OMG these guy would make the my old unit, the 10th Mountain Division, look weak and by no means they are. The Sergeant was super cool, living by honor, love they neighbor, faith and kicking butt. The only thing I got annoyed at was why the Bollywood dancing and singing in the middle of the flix which I do not like in any Indian movie. I can't imagine these macho men prancing around.

If a party needed to gain the Sikh vote in Punjab, they would come up with Kesari. All Pashto save for the garrison cook are depicted as big bad evildoers. On the Pashto side, there is even a Russian drag queen made to look like a wicked. It is a propaganda movie feeding off caricatures of a bygone era.

I have just finished watching Kesari, I'm a massive fan of true war films. And I have to admit this is one of the best films I've seen in my life! I've watched 100s of war films and a few Indian films this being my 3rd. I was sceptical at first not knowing what the Indian cinema could bring to a factual war story but I can't say anymore but wow!! It's amazing how good the film was. The parts of small comedy were great too! And I love the ending, the Sikhs keeping their honour as men and Sikhs also, fighting for each other not for any political cause or particular country. That's what fighting with men at arms is fighting for the man next to you like he's your brother. I very much respect the Sikh much more and you've opened my eyes to their honour for which i never knew existed knowing nothing about them. The direction is great and use of camera angle was spot on. They have honoured the Sikhs who died that day and all before them. Thank you for making a great film and I hope all see it, Yours respectively Rich from England 👏👏👏

I loved it. I'll watch it again because I missed some of the subtitles. The professional critics are wrong. It held my attention for the entire 2.5 hours. I didn't notice the blood, I was focused on the acrobatics. The filming was excellent.
