A movie about a terrible person played by an a terrible person.

I didn't feel this was an Oscar worthy performance. Many other biographies have been better done.

Fantastic to see what it took for Serena and Venus to be global superstars. Their dad's story is very interesting too. Really enjoyed this film

Will Smith nails the tricky Louisiana accent, and delivers one of the best roles of his career. Richard Williams is a complicated man, both a dreamer and a petty tyrant, and Smith weaves through those subplots with a deftness that few actors could demonstrate. I'll admit I knew little about the backstory of the Williams sisters, other than they were incredible tennis players, so this was enlightening as well as entertaining. And I should note that Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor matches Smith in every scene -- you absolutely believe that this is a married couple with five daughters, not enough money, working too many jobs and living in a crime-ridden neighborhood. Her combination of strength and religion-based subservience is nothing short of incredible. (#442 in my "watch all Best Picture Nominees" bucket list)

Heartfelt and I felt the love for the family and the game. Not the best I've ever watched but highly enjoyable

Great movie! Acting was amazing and a very emotional performance. I can't believe that it's almost 2.5 hours long it didn't feel like it I was so invested in it from the first minute of watching it. Totally agree with will smith getting Oscar for this performance it's a must watch!

The Venus and Serena Williams origin story. Regrettably, because its theme — the power and essentialness of the nuclear family, determination and a strong father (Will Smith) — is contra the prevailing victimhood narrative it is almost assured of being overlooked by the awards industry.

It glosses over Richard's poor treatment of his first family.

Amazing story about the father of the two most talented and known tennis players. Love to see a father dedicate all himself to give a future to his children.

Very good movie with great story and cinematography. Loved the acting.
