This is my favorite Christmas movie. The animation is beautiful, and for an animated family movie, it's quite deep. I've rewatched it several times and the ending makes me tear up every time.

Klaus is one of my go-to Christmas movies. Its a beautifully crafted story surrounding the origin of Christmas. It's story is engaging, heartwarming and really elevates the mood you want around the festive season. The movie has a superb pacing that makes it feel shorter than it is which works in its favour. It never wastes your time, it introduces interesting characters that grow on you throughout. It's one of Netflixs best animated movies. I'll love to see them expand this formula in the future with new movies.

Oh my gosh, this was a charming family movie. If you fondly remember the '90's -era animated Disney movies, I can't recommend this highly enough. From the hand drawn aesthetic, to the creatively embellished "legend" of a toymaker named, "Klaus," (and the reason he gives children toys) there isn't a single aspect of this movie that didn't warm my heart. Like I mentioned during my review for The Christmas Chronicles: Part 2, there's a difference between "goofy," like what's found in most animated projects these days, and "whimsy," like what's in this movie. A must watch.
