Terrible film. The plot makes no sense, the good guys are trying to stop Athena, the bad guys are trying to stop her. The effects are terrible. Camera angles are boringly normal, fight scenes are below average. It's like no one could really be bothered. I guess there was something good in it, no wait, there wasn't.

Based on the international anime sensation, Knights of the Zodiac brings the Saint Seiya saga to the big screen in live-action for the first time. Seiya (Mackenyu), a headstrong street teen, spends his time fighting for cash while he searches for his abducted sister. When one of his fights unwittingly taps into mystical powers he never knew he had, Seiya finds himself thrust into a world of warring saints, ancient magical training and a reincarnated goddess who needs his protection. If he’s to survive, he will need to embrace his destiny and sacrifice everything to take his rightful place among the Knights of the Zodiac.

I didn't know anything about the source material so I am not biased but I liked this movie. Sean Bean always has a powerful presence. Special affects were ok. Story was good. More of a made for TV movie feel but that is ok.

The movie with the worst graphics and plot adapted from animation I have ever seen. The way the rough scene transitions to the actor's expressions is awkward. It's hard to believe that it's being produced in 2023 and it's this bad.

Had to give it 3 stars. I have studied Greek mythology. It fails miserably. I am wishing I could rewrite this movie. I like the ending and that is what Atheena would be like. Well a neat idea using classical true to character and this movie would be the bomb.

As a die hard fan, this was a huge disappointment. The story is slow, boring, unnecessarily complicated, doesn’t follow the anime or the manga, the design of the armours is very ugly, you dont care for the villain, the acting is terrible, bad casting and most of the characters doesnt appear… maybe they thought this could be a trilogy and bring them slowly hahaha thats even endearing. Seiya in the original source was never a very interesting character, the appeal of it is the variety of heroes and antiheros, so focusing in such a simple plain character like Seiya was the first mistake of many. Any Saint Seiya videogame is a lot more satisfying than

Visuals leave much to be desired but actions sequences keep you entertained. If they make a sequel I’d probably be down to watch that as well -KFARR

There is so much potential here with great visual effects and key actors on set. Based on the anime, its storyline has so much that the directors could have tapped on yet It comes across like a B-movie. And so literally there is only one reason why fans would flock to this anyway: lead actor and eye candy Mackenyu
