predictable, not very funny....tried to watch 'til the end but couldn't stomach it. Had to turn it off.

As a fan of the cast, and even the writers-directors' podcast, I was seriously underwhelmed… The premise was cute enough for a buddy movie, I expected nothing more. It honestly felt like a tween boys' idea of a great movie, and I don't mean the intelligent ones. It felt like a thrown together loooong skit that would not have made it through Wed night writers' room on SNL. This is what happens when no one challenges your ideas. I'm especially sad that the 2 lady leads, who it seemed had finally gotten the recognition they deserve, were actually lowered a few rungs by this sophomoric at best, frat house for 5th grade boys raised by wolves. It could have worked without the endless crass humor, massive airtime to wholly unrelated bongs, and general direction toward the lowest possible bar. Definitely disappointed and surprised. I root for the underdog and I really wanted these brothers to prove their mettle. I expected low budget production values. I expected silly, even stupid, I'm not above dumb jokes, but THIS was painful. #cringefest #dobetter

This was such an awful movie that had such great potential. The gratuitous vulgarity was the beginning of the end and it was painful to watch.

[Spoiler Alerts] The talents of the actors were wasted on this predictable, barely watchable, almost insulting movie full of hackneyed clichés. Elegant lady trying to train up a slob (ala My Fair Lady, et al.), black servants winning out over unlikable white folks without even trying (ala Driving Miss Daisy, et al.), even tasteless fart jokes played too often, it's all here, with poor dialog, an underlying story of police entrapment into child molestation, and mail-it-in performances from actors who should do better. I would have shut it off early, but my wife wanted to hang in until the end. Don't bother.

Lady of the Manor's off-beat attempt at humor couldn't match the amount of acting talent they had lined up. Lynskey's irreverence gets old about half way through, but it's a decent afternoon flick.

Worst movie ever. Bad acting, dumb story line. Just wasn't executed well at all. Foul language is over the top bordering on ridiculous.

Great movie funny. Uplifting and fun. I love movies featuring Ghosts and this has the best ever! Cute and great chemistry among the actors.

It could be the romantic comedy if only ... I gave 1 star because of last 15 minutes of this movie.

Wonderful concept, terrific cast. Horrible, and I mean horrible, script. Direction was also weak in several spots - some felt like outtakes that were left in. Overall, the flick reminded me of a high school play but being shot as a movie. The only reason I kept watching was because all the performances were worthy from Melanie Lynskey to a baffled and always entertaining Luis Guzman. Melanie Lynskey is terrific in her role (and I think I'm in love with her now). I could've done without the excessive vulgarity and farting; I got the point the first of 300 times.
