Skirts Towards A Semblance Of An Interesting Tale Of Good Vs Evil, Loyalty Vs Betrayal. The Focus On The Female Struggle With A Vague Nod To The Kid's Demons Had Me Wondering Where The Directors Heart Of The Story Rested. It Seemed Torn Between 2-Stories With Alicia Silverstone Seemingly Taking The Lions Share, Which Was The Less Interesting Person In The Film.

This movie was alright. It felt really rushed and there wasn't good character development. They should've taken more time showing how they lived and more of the main actor growing up to explain how brainwashed he was. They also should've taken their time with the romance. It was so rushed and there were no feelings at all. Just some random paranoid guy walks into your house.. he trusts you instantly even though the whole point is for him to be scared of the outside world. Then you sleep with him immediately? Literally two days of knowing each other.. and he's willing to risk all that he's known his entire life? nah should have been given more screen time for the audience to care about the relationship. The acting had times of being good but some parts were so bad. But that fish seen at the very beginning.. come on man that was an awful attempt at making a fish prop look like it was "flopping" around lol

A decent film that was both unique and engaging, but suffers from a predictable third act.

Feels a little stretched, and there wasn't much in the story, in terms of originality. Lead performances are good.

Interesting story, beautiful scenery, atmospheric. Some bad acting at times but entertaining.

Pretty good acting. The story was interesting. The plot twists were too. Nice work cinematographically. Totally worth your time. Some parts were slow, some on the edge of your seat.

Decent drama with a twist you can see coming a mile away.

Reminiscent of The Village (2004), this flick has a twist that keeps it entertaining throughout. It did feel a bit slow for me at times.

Some great ideas (survivalists / loyalty / desertion) but also faint whiffs of gun control and anti-masculine ideas that seem silly. Silverstone is good - but the last third of the movie falters in making any good points.

    Different movie and plausible plot!
