I personally loved this movie. I first watched it in the middle of the night and I loveddd it, it made me cry, excited, nervous, and also very mad at the main character for a period of time.

the twist at the end made my gf very happy. glad I picked it

The main actor was so bad and a weak character that you wished a bug would have eaten him early in the movie could end sooner.

Lots of fun. Monsters and action and romance and a little comedy, something for everyone.

Enjoyed this little gem much more than I expected to. Some very likeable performances, a sweet script, impressive lore building and some nice apocalyptic action. Nothing not to like here. Very enjoyable.

Cuando hablamos de películas de comedia post-apocaliptica existen varios referentes; uno de ellos el neoclásico Zombieland (2009) o This is the End (2013) que al menos son lecturas obligadas del género pero en un año complicado para el cine como lo fue el 2020 llega esta propuesta del director Michael Matthews que se siente algo juvenil en la forma y en la creación de mundos siguiendo un arquetipo ya algo gastado sobre el héroe que hará lo imposible para volver con su amada pero más que seguir dichos caminos convencionales busca humanizar a su protagonista con una serie de obstáculos tanto de su entorno como personales que se vuelve algo muy entretenido de ver. La cinta aterriza en lugares comunes con clichés que hemos visto cientos de veces pero en la gran mayoría logran darle al clavo y sacarte más de una carcajada, eso sí, llega un punto dentro del tercer acto en el que ya no queda muy claro como funciona la psique de los mounstros sin embargo sigue siendo entretenida y recomendable
