Maleficent

it's a beautiful movie and a much deeper story of an old corrupt tale that didn't have one to deliver before.

Ok, so you're taking the "Wicked" approach and taking a villain and making them more fleshed out. The problem is, maleficent didn't need that. They were perfectly fine as just an villain who was evil because they enjoyed being evil. You don't need to make them a misunderstood hero, we loved them enough as just the villain.

I watched this on DVD recently and it's excellent. This version of Sleeping Beauty is much better than the original. Angelina Jolie plays Maleficent superbly portraying the perfect blend of emotions to make the film a memorable experience. The story is extremely well constructed introducing enough originality to make the film feel fresh and familiar at the same time. The special effects are awesome, and at times it felt like I was actually present in the magical fairytale world where anything was possible. There were a few things which seemed a little inconsistent, which warrant a second viewing, but over all I thoroughly enjoyed this film and have no problem recommending it.

the first movie is so much fun and perfect!

I've tried to watch this movie and it was Painful to watch it until the end. They make princesses look bad. I don't see any lesson to this. This makes it seem ok to destroy burial/sacred grounds and the main characters were so clueless and didn't even try. I was completely disappointed. So disappointed I made an account just to review this movie. So many characters and things die and there's no repercussions or anything. I feel like the main character doesn't listen to her "mother" then bad things happen but this was portrayed horribly. I literally don't see any lesson learned. This doesn't give a good message nor lesson learned besides the stupid violence is never the answer idea. And yet when violence isn't the answer everyone still dies. I can't tell if this was supposed to be a happy ending movie or realistic but either way it was horribly portrayed. I wouldn't show this to my kids because this doesn't portray a lesson correctly or clearly.

Figurinos e fotografia excelente, atuação medíocre e o enredo é bem desinteressante.

Angelina Jolies Leistung macht diesen Film erst sehenswert…
