disappointing as I was really looking forward to this one, but It never seemed to have point to the story and just seemed totally ridiculous overall following shells. Seems everyone else enjoyed it though, but thumbs down for me.

Funny and feel good, loved it

This is my favorite movie. It's well written and always leaves me in a good mood. Marcel has so much depth for such a little guy. I even have the Marcel figure on my mantle so he can see out over the whole rug. ❤️

It is humanly impossible not to be moved in some way by Dean Fleischer Camp's film. The movie itself is minute in scale and runtime, but epic in its emotional tone subtle themes. In short, "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On" is a masterpiece not only of stop-motion animation film, but for cinema as a whole.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! it really shows the reality of being viral or trending on the internet, and the dangers that come with it. the film was so emotional but ended with such a positive message. 11/10, my favourite film!

This movie didn't just come out as a good movie it was one of my favorite films ever.

A live-action/stop-motion animated mockumentary that follows Marcel, an anthropomorphic seashell who lives with his grandmother Connie at an Airbnb, where a documentary maker posts a short film online bringing Marcel millions of passionate fans and a new hope of reuniting with his long-lost family. An incredibly heartwarming tale, even if the premise might seem odd and absurd at first, but it is so full of tender and sweet moments that will make the viewer feel like falling in love for this adorable and witty shell. Full of all kind of emotions until the very end, it is a very pure life-affirming story with profound dialogues and incredible animation, and it completely deserving of its many award nominations, including one for the Oscar.
