I love rom-coms , but this is what happens when a superstar is involved. Its so indulgent of JLo's brand. Her character never does anything wrong, or make any mistakes. So her character never grows or develops, she is perfect right from the start .The people around her make trouble but never her. This movie tries to do the Notting Hill thing but without the wit or charm. Go watch "It happened one night", instead.

An inspirational story that will satisfy and entertain you. Amazing rom com. Usually these types of movies come off cheesy, cringey or cheap but this one actually delivered a compelling plot with relatable and lovable characters. Better than I thought it could ever be. Romantic yet funny. Owen Wilson is perfectly cast. Jennifer Lawrence steals the show with an amazing acting performance. It is really a shame that the trailers undersold this film. It is actually pretty good. Lots of great and emotional moments that will keep your eyes on the screen. Overall a solid film that will maybe surprise and delight you.

Maluma needs to learn more English when doing an English Spoken movie and pronunciate English words more accurately could not understand his jumbled English alot of the time when he appeared on screen only while singing and even that was not clear Spanish. He was a let down, he is better at the lipsyncing acting (Music Videos) not the Spoken acting (Theatricals), maybe if he did more English or Spanglish on his albums and songwriting could possibly help improve for his English audiences aswell as any future English Movie And TV Series Roles. He needs improving for movie roles.

Owen Wilson and Jennifer Lopez really have a good chemistry on screen, did not expect less from two veterans. I really enjoyed the movie, the music was good though.

This film was boring, predictable & corny. The acting was very mediocre too. I'm sorry to say that this is the worst film I've seen in a long time. My advice would be to give it a miss. Sorry!

Quite predictable, but sweet. Good for watching after a hard day when you don't wanna focus on anything deep and meaningful, just have pretty pictures with basic but heartwarming story to make you forget about stuff, perhaps even believe in happy endings for a moment. Typical chick flick

5/10 - An average romantic comedy which is more romance than comedy, but it still made me laugh a few times and I might watch it again at a romantic time of year like valentine's day or near my wedding day. The film is about a pop star called Kat played by Jennifer Lopez who plans to get married to another singer on stage in front of the whole world. But moments before she is due to say, "I do," a story gets posted on social media about her fiance cheating on her, so she decides to marry a random guy from the audience instead. The guy she chooses is Charlie Gilbert played by Owen Wilson who surprisingly is quite a nice, decent guy. Charlie is then thrust into the wild world of fame and constant paparazzi. I do think that Charlie is the funniest person in the film and did make me chuckle a few times. Charlie's job is a math teacher and I think the funniest part of the film is when he introduces Kat to his daughter and his Math Club. Kat then teaches Charlie's students how to dance and answers a few of their questions. This then leads to a cheerful scene that made me chuckle a few times but didn't make me laugh out loud. Another character that made me laugh a few times is Charlie's friend, Parker, played by Sarah Silverman. I remember chuckling at a joke at the beginning where she tells her ex to, "suck it," at Kat's wedding/concert. I do think this film could have benefitted from having a few more dirty jokes and maybe increasing it's age rating from a 12 to a 15. Then Kat could have told her fiance to F off when she found out he was cheating but instead she does a boring speech about how sometimes to make love work you've got to do something different. Another thing that made the film a bit boring happens at the end when Charlie and Kat have a disagreement and I think this part have been cut out and it also made the film drag on for an extra 10 - 20 minutes.

The forced storyline of MARRY ME is as original as the actors are charismatic and credible. If your on the look out to waste time on an utterly dreadful movie Marry Me is for you.

A classic rom-com formula gets a fresh spin with this charming cast. Stars Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson are perfectly matched for their roles, and John Bradley's deadpan hilarity and Sarah Silverman's zany antics add to the movie perfectly. The plot might tread familiar ground, but the witty dialogue, slapstick gags, and undeniable chemistry between the leads keep it consistently entertaining. This is comfort food cinema at its finest, offering predictable yet heartwarming laughs from start to finish.
