Minions: The Rise of Gru

Cute and funny, but completely uninteresting. This has little more to offer than: "Minions are funny, right?"

Minions: The Rise of Gru presents a notably fast-paced and exciting origin story that despite some lack of depth and its structural issues has great voice acting and embraces its silliness which makes it far more involving and entertaining than it could have been.

This movie is definitely the worst installment in the Despicable Me franchise due to its poor story and development of characters.

Saw this movie on release date. It was better than the first Minions movie that for sure! And it goes over Gru's storyline perfectly!

Not a 5 star movie, but tied for best in franchise with DM3. 4.5 from me.
