The film takes place in 1970 in London , durving the famous Miss world competition, 6 women gathen together to form an anti-sexism association. They are courageous, determined women who are all fighting for the same goal : to fight for freedom , and against inequalities ( in the against face of ) men. Among them Jenny,Sue, Sarah , Jame, Jo and Philipa. I like the movie because they respected the atmosphere and the real story , the revolt in the middle of filming thé show.

For me the best part of the movie is when Bop Hope was bombarded by feminists. This moment is really funny . In my opinion it's not a good or a bad film .It's good to wtch this when you are with your family or your friends , but it's really less funny when you are solo .The actors were not bad , shes played really well .

I like Misbehaviour it deals with Missworld 1970 and women's revolution. Bob Hope is sexist. My favourite scene is when they throw some flour bombs on stage!

Missbehaviour is a great movie dealing with women's liberation in the 70's. In my opinion, director Philippa Lowthorpe realised a true historical movie about the events at Miss world 1970. The real feminist present at the show, Sarah Wilson, explained that it does make her feel very proud and she hopes that people can be inspired by the movie. My favourite part of the film is when the winner of Miss World and Sally met in the toilets and they talk for a minute because at this moment the two different worlds of these women are united and we realised that they are both fighting sexism and racism.

Enjoyable depiction of the historic beginning of the British women's lib movement in the 1970s. Though a somewhat light movie, it dealt with respect with other issues, too, like apartheid and racism in general. Not quite clear if the jury really thought the 2 black women were the top candidates or if there was some political aspect to their decision, like there was to send 2 candidates from South Africa to "whitewash" the segregation reality.

I thought this was a reasonably well made film based on a true story. I'm a little uncomfortable that its categorised as a comedy - the issue of womens rights and the objectification of young women is hardly a laughing matter and if anything such issues have only got worse in the following decades. I suppose there are some moments where the activists are shown in high spirits, which may cheer you but I wouldn't say any of it is exactly laugh out loud material. I'd heard about the true story before (having seen a documentary about it on the BBC a few years back), so I knew roughly what to expect. I thought both Keira Knightley and Jessie Buckley gave good performances, probably moreso Jessie Buckley, who is someone I really rate for her performances. If your interested in seeing the story played out in all its 1970 era bright colours and naffness, you'll find that here certainly - its a good film to potentially start discussion about feminism maybe and generally I thought it's a good film. Maybe not quite good but decent enough to be worth a watch, yes. Oh and I particularly liked that at the end, we're given details about what happened to the characters via text and shown images of the real people who were involved in real life as well - that always helps with such true life stories. If I was given the choice, I'd prefer to watch the BBC documentary with library footage of the actual event, rather than re-watch this film but it is a fairly rounded film none the less.
