Although a title that, in theory, addresses Gundam aficionados, “Cucuruz Doan’s Island” is quite appealing on its own, offering much entertainment to even the “ignorant” viewer, and that is where its true value lies.



Mobile Suit Gundam Cucuruz Doan’s Island might be a bit confusing for new fans, but it’s certainly worth watching if you have any interest in Gundam.

Cucuruz Doan’s Island transforms a forgotten Gundam episode into one of the most exciting Gundam movies ever.

It's not a good introduction to the series, but if you're already a Gundamn fan it has many characters you already know and like.

The film has a nice mix of action and slower moments where the characters and story can breathe... Fans of the original show should be pleased with the film, which raises a certain level of nostalgia for Mobile Suit Gundam.
