The Monkey King: Reborn

Worst movie I've ever seen. Simplistic characters with weird voices and barely any plot. Half the movie is one extended action scene. Strangest scene has to be where they eat the fruit which looks like a baby but there's many more ...

A near perfect sequel and better than the first one. The creature designs all work, the English dub is very good. But the one thing that bugged me is the twin guardians who has a strange Monkey phobia or something. But a minor complaint in a near perfect movie.

Animated feature sees the Monkey King destroy a sacred tree unleashing a demon who kidnaps his master. Now it's up to Monkey King and his pals to rescue him before it's too late. Really lush animation which is quite beautiful to watch. Story is okay. Some of the characters are stereotypically annoying, but a feast for the eyes.
