Fantastic writing, acting and production.

Just a nice movie with older stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin explicitly showing their age and how to deal with the twilight of life, though it does involve murderous thoughts, for different reasons, of the widower of one of a college triad of friends.

Great plot, great acting, kept you interested the entire time. Raw but also sweet, a movie that tackles some serious topics but also is light fun. Absolutely loved!

This was a good movie. It gives the viewer an idea of what it is like to be old, and how bad events of the past can stay with us all our lives. I recommend seeing this movie.

I found it very entertaining! Lilly and Jane are still amazing in this. I found myself still laughing at these two over the shenanigans they encounter. Definitely some dry or dark humor but I like that kinda stuff!

A totally expected excellent movie. And truly, "I laughed, I cried", tho in reverse order. I just saw the embarrassing 80 for Brady, and did not think this would be any better, but I was wrong. Each actor was perfect for the role and there wasn't an unplanned awkward moment. It hit on a lot of sensitive topics, but shoved nothing in your face. Not for kids, but worth seeing for anyone over their teens and a good movie for an after screening discussion. I feel sorry for those it offended—perhaps you need to get out of your bubble and meet people unlike you.

It was very entertaining. Also had some very good points as far as rape goes, that one Never forgets. Also, Lily Tomlin's interaction with the little who wanted to explore other possibilities. It's sad that in today's time that little boys and girls can't just play and have fun and explore. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are going to be wanting to change anything permanently.(but if they do who cares.)(on a sidenote not until they are an adult. Do I agree with changing a gender permanently/surgically.) anyway I thought it was a very good movie love, laughter, diversity, and justice.

Whoever put Groucho Marx eyebrows on beautiful Jane Fonda should be shot.

Sorry, not a fan. Jane Fonda has had so much plastic surgery, her face no longer reflects emotion. Lily Tomlin remained true to herself. Her face is still expressive. Mostly, as an older person myself, I find it hard to believe that an event forty-six years past, no matter how horrible, could still exert such strong influence on Jane Fonda's character. Especiallly as she appears to have remained close friends with the wife of the man she blames for having ruined her life. But she didn't tell her husband at the time, or anyone except Lily Tomlin. Tomlin, who seems to be playing a version of herself, is a charming character, eccentric but true. The Jane Fonda character was more of an uptight, suburban prig. Who likes sex. The script made a real effort to be clever and amusing. It didn't work for me. Maybe because the actresses are too old to be the zany, intense eccentrics who could pull this off. It really is true that as you age the joints stiffen, movements slow down, everything takes more effort. These two ladies are the leads, and they are on screen a lot, so it is not so easy to fake energy that isn't there. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin make a great team. I'm sorry this movie was such a disappointment to me.
