Very very shallow movie with no significant character development for any of the characters🙂‍↔️

How got this movie idea approved? Staring at a wall for 3 hours straight has a better story.

Doesn’t matter how impossibly hard producers like Karan Johar and Boney Kapoor try to establish Janvhi Kapoor as a big and main stream star, her expressionless, dull and monotonous acting similar to all her previous movies has made this movie another “can avoid movie” for the viewers. Add to it weak dialogues and weak storyline. Tapsi and Saiyami have portrayed the similar role far better in terms of acting. Rajesh Sharma and Kumud Mishra were brilliant in their roles as always. Zarina Wahab’s role was short but decent. Seems like Rajkumar Rao is also loosing his touch. It’s high time for him to become selective and avoid same kind of roles(egotistical & selfish man realizing his mistakes in the end, like in Srikanth and this + other movies), which would bring back his versatility. Overall, I will remark it as a “could be avoided’

Superficial, half-hearted.

Rajkummar Rao is brilliant but releasing this so close to his stellar Srikanth may not have been that wise. Janhvi is great as well but as far as sports films are concerned, this one doesn't hit the right spots.

Movie was amazing. Theater was not.

heartwarming and inspiring

The last sports drama I watched was MS Dhoni, which was a biopic. Mostly sports dramas focus on the knit grit of the life of the athlete the story has been made. But this latest sports drama is a romance story. It is not the story of Mahi failing as a cricketer. It is the story of Mahi who meets Mahi and together knits dream of getting the best cricketer trophy. What makes Mr. & Mrs. Mahi adorable 1. The sweet chemistry between the fresh pair. Jahnvi and RR made the story sweet as cherry. 2. The storing narrative promises a unique premise. From capturing the awkwardness of newlyweds to blooming romance...it keeps all. Where Mahis fell apart 1. The pace of the storyline. The director often finds it difficult to keep the motion. 2. Gaps identified in storytelling while making it too real.

'Mr. & Mrs. Mahi' is a breezy romantic sports drama that delivers a heartwarming blend about dreams and self-discovery.
