"Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway" is a movie that is pretty much difficult to watch all the way through. The movie doesn't give the viewer much time at all to settle in or get to know the characters, but it does do a good job of still leaving an impact. The movie is definitely carried by an actress like Rani Mukerji who has proven time and time again she is a true Bollywood talent. I do feel sometimes the movie is a bit relentless and drags, particularly with its use of songs, which are repetitive and just designed to make the viewer more bummed about what is depicted. Overall, this is a movie that kept me engaged and despite being a tough watch, it feels important and tells its story mostly well enough to make it worth the experience.

Amazing movie full of emotion and based on a true story that unfortunately happens every day. It does an excellent job of portraying the horrors of living under a secular extremist regime and why people should stand up against them.

It's only watchable because of Rani Mukherjee's realistic portrayal of depressed, helpless mother seeking her children's authority 💝 that's really outstanding. Everything else is like melodramatic average tv drama.

If you want to know how disconnected these critics are from the audience, watch this movie. Or else just watch this movie. Not going into those critical analysis of drama and splitting hairs on direction, it's far better than being currently rated. No complaints from Rani Mukherjee and the way she can still capture the audience with her acting skills. She has carried the film on her shoulder in all emotional scenes. Story line is much better than the woke society movies that try to gain popularity on the topic rather than creating a story around it. In contrast this is just on motherhood, nothing new but nothing ordinary. Just watch it with your family and you will be avoiding eye contacts with them during emotional scenes to hide tears for sure.

I'm astonished that you guys gave this extraordinary movie such a low-rating. It's not often that a mother's struggle to prevent a predatory state get away with a gross injustice portrays with so many truths which mothers of colour fight on a daily basis. Never mind how long it is - it's a tribute to Mrs Chaterjee - a mother who like so many others, never gave up

This movie is truly an emotional one. I really cried watching this movie. She indeed is a fighter who fought for her children with a nation Norway. Salute to her. She is the inspiration for Billions. Thank you so much for being very much brave. So so proud of you real Sagarika chakraborty. You made all India proud.

Well made! One need not compare this movie story with the actual story that happened. Hats off to Rani Mukherji for her excellent acting! The viewer has to put oneself in a mother's shoes whose children have been taken away forcibly from her that seems as a melodrama.

Why is the critic review so bad when audience score super high? I loved this movie! Such obstacles this women went through, it was truly gut-wrenching. Very sad but brilliant movie. I'm awe of the real-life lady who went thru this.

I can't believe this hasn't gotten rave review Incredulous story based on real life situation It's like a Bollywood ( rotten husband) goes to a "the happiest country" and finds a prejudiced anti immigrant system in 2011! Rani Mukherjee did a great job at acting
