Murder Mystery 2

It’s a Friday night movie; one to watch with a glass of something and the brain in sleep mode.

Pyrotechnics are plentiful, but laughs are not.

Ding-dongs solving mysteries is a decent premise. But the house style of the movies is more celebrities-delivering-lines rather than its two leads committing to the camp of it all.

Murder Mystery 2 just went bigger but forgot the fact it’s supposed to be a whodunit and not just a wild European caper.

This crime caper has a certain frenzied energy, but it’s sloppily plotted, crass and so dumb, you wouldn’t trust it to use cutlery unsupervised.

...too contrived to feel real, yet not quite over-the-top enough to be hilarious.

The clues in ‘Murder Mystery 2’ are clever and inclusive, like the music at the ‘sangeet’ for a jolly travelogue pulled along smoothly on the rails of Aniston’s and Sandler’s considerable comic talent

While Murder Mystery 2 might lack depth and a concrete theme to balance the narrative, Aniston and Sandler make it an undeniable delight worth watching.

Sandler and Aniston have such a breezy chemistry that we wish that this entire series had the kind of smarts and creativity to be found in the Knives Out films and TV's The AfterParty

Not bad but not great either. Some fun moments but not enough to count.
