Always loved Harvest and the newly-released film is excellent, giving an insight into the process of recording. Seeing the musicians working on the songs and how they developed into the tracks we know was fascinating. Worth seeing on a big screen first but will want to watch again one day.

I thought it was great to see the creative process in action and I'm so glad I saw this on big screen, as it really added to it. Harvest isn't even my favorite Neil Young album but this was a blast. There's no plot and it jumps around a little but if you're an NY fan, you should already expect a bit of stream of consciousness.

I'd rate it at 70% - Trimming about 20 minutes would help a lot. Hearing the same song over and over just gets tedious. I didn't realize recording is such a grind. On the other hand witnessing all the talent and creativity at work, and the spirit of camaraderie, is special. The ranch is beautiful peaceful spot to recharge your battery. The movie ended on a high note and is worth seeing.

If you are a Neil Young fan, you will not want to miss seeing behind the scenes of the making of Harvest. So great to see Neil as he waswhen I 1st started loving his music. He's 9 yrs older than me.. love him....and his simple beliefs in saving our planet.

Always been a fan of Neil Young, his music and his apparent integrity. This film is a delightful snapshot of a an edgy time and a very young man already super famous and somehow unspoiled by success. He is just happy and respectful of everyone he encounters, and of course the music is beautiful.
