Loved this so much. Really captured the duality of motherhood. The love and the loneliness. Amy Adam’s. Essential viewing for all partners of mothers

I think it is very realistic way to show a motherhood eve tho it shows that the woman is becoming a dog.

It touches so many important topics related to motherhood and womanhood, which makes it a must watch for mothers and daughters. However, every man should see this as well and I can bet it will be thought provoking. Story-wise it had such good potential which they squandered by going away from the horror aspect of it. Not everything needs a happy ending. Amy Adams was brilliant as usual.

Definitely a mom movie. Great if you need to be convinced not to have kids. I didn't hate it though.

Awful film, i feel bad for people that read the book and anyone that watches this. Tackles the topic without any creativity. Felt like a hallmark movie. Should've been done by a good horror director, like the director that did the substance. Also, that weirdo that did the soundtrack should be slapped.

From the perspective of a mother who read the book and felt Rachel Yoder had someone how accessed my dark heart and written all about it. If you hated this movie, it’s simply not FOR you. It’s for me. Also Amy Adams is spectacular.

Wow there’s an hour and a half I won’t get back, another film where a woman and her husband decide to have a baby, she can’t cope, until her husband takes the child away ( by being chucked out of his house ) at the weekends so she can have some space to find a way back to how she felt when childless !

Anyone that doesn’t give this five stars must not be a mother because wow every part of it spoke so much truth to me. I loved it and will recommend to everyone.
