Pretty good, I was into 'Nobody Knows I'm Here'. I wouldn't class it as anything spectacular, though I thought it did a solid job at bringing its story to life. There's a strong lead performance from Jorge Garcia as Memo; a character that kept giving me Quasimodo of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' vibes, but perhaps that's just a lazy comparison on my part. He has a nice musical number too. All in all, though not perfect or anything close, this produced what I wanted it to so I'm personally happy with it.

    I really liked this one.

A modern fable, sort of a Cinderella-story. Though slow paced, the scenery of southern Chile is remarkable, and though it seems that only one song is played, the way it's performed at various moments, especially at the finale, is remarkable. Jorge Garcia did an excellent job portraying the damaged protagonist who does get his last laugh.

Memo, with introverted feeling, is wonderful to watch. How emotions are portrayed without words. There are a few scenes that are a bit obvious, which lowered it for me, creating links that were already obvious (like showing the childhood passport to link the present day Memo to the child Memo), but I loved the quiet introversion of the film, a joy to watch.

Film with a slightly banal plot but still very valid and full of small twists that make it very watchable and entertaining. The film in general has a very nice moral of rendering, not beautiful, but still very valid and with positive implications.

Plot was too slow and really, what was so traumatic that he had to hid from the world? Lots of people are mistreated as children and don't become a recluse. I kept thinking it would get better since it had won an award, but nah.

The cinematography, message, plot, character development are great. Why haven't we heard more about this film.

Beautiful slow-paced poetry. A hand crafted jewel in which the viewer can feel the makers love and dedication to their art.

I loved this movie. The story shows how adults can hurt children and then children hurt each other, sometimes tragically. Also, the story unfolds gradually, everything seems so sleepy at the start, until you realize towards the end the emotions that rage inside. I loved the main character, his pain and his ability to overcome. There is a wonderfully satisfying feeling of justice being done at the end, and the song will mesmerize and haunt you for a long time.
