Last I checked, a "B-movie" is a low-budget film with little production value and cheesy effects. This film contains none of these negative qualities and had 40 million dollars at their disposal. The opening sequence alone was amazing with better action and special effects than most big-budgeted war flicks. The acting and dialogue were great, the action sequences extravagant and the practical/special effects phenomenal! Pay no attention to the few idiots labeling this film 'mediocre' because it was nothing short of bloody fantastic! A terrific horror/action/comedy that puts most modern, big-budgeted Hollywood films to shame!

Long story short if you enjoy playing call of duty zombies this is the movie for you.. Nothing fancy just good B movie action and horror and I love every minute of it..

Great idea but it could be more then a simple action flick but it's good enough

Well executed B-movie mayhem. The overall plot is a tad predictable, but the movie knows what it is and instead aims for finding slightly different takes on the sequences you'd expect.

It's a rare blend of war film and horror picture that really works. Overlord is full of violence, grotesque imagery, and classic Nazi villains. Gone are the expansive battlefields in place of close-quarters combat. The third act showcases the heroes fighting what are essentially zombies in underground tunnels. Nestled within the carnage is a gripping narrative about the brotherhood amongst soldiers and the atrocities they face. This war-horror movie ought not to be missed.

    was ait definitely watchable

A new take on zombie genre with some touch of Nazi war drama.

Solid but not nrly as dark as it needs to be. Ignoring all the lazy anachronisms it's a good story, but descends into silliness in the last 1/2 hr. If you've nothing else to watch, go for your life.

    Goat. Masterpiece. Generational

This is the one that you should see. The visuals and character development go far beyond what would normally be expected. This is especially true of the opening 101st Airborne plane attack/paratrooper landing and disturbing images such as the disembodied head calmly repeating its request for death "s'il vous plaît" ("if you please"). No matter what "picky" criticisms pointed out, you wouldn't want to miss this combination of a traditional World War 2 film blended with the exceptionally extreme horror suggested by (the very real) Nazi "doctor" experimentation that was actually conducted in the true historical concentration camps.
