This film, while not a direct memoir, offers a sense of authenticity that captures the essence of truth. A tender exploration of relationships and life's choices across time, framed by the concept of fate and past lives. I think it may resonate with some viewers while missing others. Overall a decent movie, part of the movie is in Korean so be prepared to read, that was one of my cons to be honest. Overall I felt this movie was a bit over hyped.

Just couldn't get into it I never was rooting for anybody.

This was a great short story until the scenes were painfully stretched to fill 2hrs.

Tenía desde Marriage Story que mi corazón no lloraba de una manera tan sincera, repentina e inconsolable. Después de haber visto esta película, me dejo con una extraña sensación que me obliga a sentir alegría y tristeza por todas las personas que he conocido.

Utterly disappointing given the hype. Except for a few performances and cinematography, there's hardly anything good here.

the movie is overhyped. Dull writing, the climax was mundane. I did not understand the takeaway from the movie. The past life concept is so predictable and done to so many times.

Man if u actually care, FIGHT for her

Given the acclaim, I'm stunned at how pretentious and pedantic this movie turned out to be. I was bored from beginning to end, waiting for the story to engage, for the characters to do something interesting. But it's basically an angst-y pseudo-romance desperate to escape the trappings of its genre without replacing them with anything compelling or resonant or subversive. That something so thin and waffling garnered this many award nominations really speaks to the vapidness of contemporary audiences. What a profound disappointment.

Wafer-thin, pretentious schmaltz. 'The Notebook' for people who think they're too sophisticated for 'The Notebook'.
