As a fan of PAW Patrol, since it first came out, I have enjoyed this film. It was decent. It had great action sequences and a storyline that was a nice speed for kids to keep up with, and for us older viewers, it's at a smooth pace. The message was a lovely general message for people of any age about being brave, and I keep that with me because I too thought that being brave was not being scared, and it spoke to me. Especially having it be Chase, who is afraid. If you know PAW Patrol, then you know Chase is a brave outgoing leader sort of pup, and seeing the vulnerable side of a beloved character for kids (and older ones too) to connect with is something that the creators have tackled well.

I was not expecting something special from the first movie, but surprise me with great animation well made story and message about facing the fears and some surprisingly good writing and comedy. Obviously the secret sounds good the first one but does provide with some fun action pretty good comedy and a fun children's movie which is exactly what I wanted from this. Just keep in mind it's a kids movie a very well made kid movie but still kids movie

Paw Patrol: The Movie is a great addition to the Paw Patrol series. It's a great story that follows the Paw Patrol team as they go on an exciting adventure to save Adventure City from a Evil Mayor. The movie is full of fun, action-packed scenes that keep kids entertained. The characters are all lovable and the voice acting is spot on. The movie also has some great messages for kids about friendship, teamwork, and courage. The animation is beautiful and the visuals are stunning. The music is also great and adds to the excitement of the movie. Overall, this movie is an enjoyable experience for both adults and kids and is worthy of a 4-star review.

There's a fine balance between having a specific opinion on a film and giving a movie a certain amount of leeway because of the simple fact that it was never intended to appeal to a certain demographic to begin with. While I'm not going to consider PAW Patrol: The Movie a crime against humanity, this film based off of the insanely popular preschool cartoon didn't exactly exceed expectations either. No backhanded compliments about this being pretty good for a movie for, and I mean this in a non-insulting context, babies. The animation's vibrant and colourful, I suppose this could be a good way into easing children into discussing themes of healing from trauma and I guess it doesn't come off as too condescending towards the little children who weren't going to let a tiny inconvenience like a global pandemic prevent them from getting a bunch of cute puppies' movie career up-and-running seeing how I wasn't expecting some complex, by preschool standards anyway, vocabulary. But this is still a pretty basic run-of-the-mill animated adventure film that, let's not mince words, mostly exists just to sell toys. The fact that most of the puppies are out-of-focus in favour of just the protagonist and a new character doesn't do much to ease in newcomers. I was never going to hold this to the insanely high standards of the Spider-Verse movies but I was still mostly quite bored and compared to the first two SpongeBob movies or even The Rugrats Movie, I didn't find this to be very cinematic outside of a shinier coat of paint. But hey, it's not the worst choice to babysit toddlers for 80 minutes. Although I will remain eternally amused that Kim Kardashian of all people made a cameo in this. You know guys, I don't think people are going to see a PAW Patrol movie for its marquee value. It's a Nick Jr. IP, not a DreamWorks film. Casting agencies can be weird sometimes, man.
