Dark in tone and lighting, its opaque storyline matched by a classic Cage performance I can see why the critics loved it.

It's very, very slow, and strange...and slow. When the credits abruptly come up, you'll likely say to yourself...wait...that's it?? Ultimately it's just a movie about a man coming to terms with the past (spouses death)...finally accepting it and moving on. A common theme, expressed in a very odd, and uncommon way. I appreciate the foregoing of stereotypical violence, and Cage is obviously a fine actor. Ultimately I'm glad I watched it, but I can't say it was wholly satisfying. But maybe that's the point?

Slow burning drama with Nicolas Cage in full swing. Carrying a heavy burden of guilt, he settles down as a truffle hunter living a life on his own in the forest, with only a beautiful truffle pig as company, until she is stolen. Cage pulls off this deep role with aplomb and gusto, and kudos to him for nailing this charismatic role. Loved the film. Cleverly written and directed. I hope for an Oscar for Cage in 2025. His best yet.

A 90 minute meander for a stolen pig. Only Cage could do it

I put this movie in the sci/fi section, since it all takes place in a darker, parallel universe. Plausible story? Not at all. Enjoyable? Sure! A Great Movie? Not in my opinion. I don't grasp all the positive fuzz about it.

What seemingly appears to be a John Wick clone, turns out to be a far more sombre and poignant piece of cinema. One of 2021's best movies..

This film is OK. Nic Cage gives a good performance. The film is abit strange and there isn't much of a plot, there are some funny moments however and the film is a good length.

Absolutely loved this movie!! I thought it was brilliantly done - a steady move that slowly builds while keeping its pace. Not a lot of dialogue from Nicholas cafe but every time he speaks you just love his mind even more; excellent script and brilliant acting all round - best thing Cage has done. Nice theme of reconciling the past and calling out what's not right in the present. I cried but I'm a softy lol
