i really enjoyed the simplicity of unexpected friendship and the pressure that a constantly evil antagonist built. Yes it is a kids movie but overall i feel it delivers properly and its good as something little bit away from hollywood-produced movies

Overall, this is a good animation film with elements focusing on the aspects of adventure, magic, and unlikely friendships.  The film has positive messages, including being honest with yourself and others and selfishness.  The voice work is great, and the soundtrack fits the adventurous tale that's on show.  The animation style is great with creative moments, especially for the various characters.  As an animation, I was quite surprised to find that this film made me chuckle a couple of times, but no doubt, younger audiences will enjoy the over-the-top humour, including random one-liners and poop jokes.  Thankfully some adults will find some joy here too (even if it's minor).

Insanely funny 🤣 wildly reminds me of Jan 6 coupe properly titled insurrection.

I like the theme but somehow the story it felt so familiar and the ending predictable.

Maybe it would have been better in French, but we saw the English dub. It is a very good looking film, with an interesting world built around the narrative. Character design is fine. A little cliche, but no complaints. The animation is smooth and easy to watch. Everything else is just a beat or two off. The jokes don't land, the action scenes have no tension, and the voice acting is just a bit flat. The plot is very derivative, but in a kid's film this is usually fine. With dull action and humour that doesn't hit, however, the cliche plot has nothing to hang off. Just an overall boring film to watch.
