- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLoved the series and this Movie! Can never get enough of Ray ! :)
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsVery poor writing for both the movie and series. After season 3 it felt like amateur movie work. Acting for both movie and series are both great but the writing and production suck! It's not often I'm so glad to be done binge watching second rate writing like this.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWow. I invested the time to watch 7 seasons Ray Donovan. The series, although very dark, was good but had a very poor ending. I was hoping the movie would tie everything up, but it left way more questions and answers. Overall, the movie wasn't even that good. Very disappointed.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsWhen I saw the end of season seven I was livid. I wanted and needed more time with the Donovan family. This movie does give you that. The series, as a whole is about the son trying to forgive his father. I think we see that here we also see what sacrifices need to be made to stop generational trauma. There are still many questions left unanswered. It's a shame we may never get the answer to them
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPerfect end to a great and underrated series x
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe series finale was terrible but the movie makes up for it. As is true of the series, the cast is truly outstanding. The movie allows a logical and realistic ending for each character's story, not tied up in a pretty bow. Very well done.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA very dramatic ending, too bad that you can tell that the actors are way older than in the last Series episode
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI didn't mind the pace of the show, but it needed more time and felt rushed at the end. I could see the end coming for quite a while, and the sins of the father theme was obvious. Absolutely loved the series, but a pity that it didn't have a final season to do it justice.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsUnimaginative fail. Reminds me of how Game of Thrones was ruined by trying to wrap up such an excellent series so quickly. Are we really supposed to believe after everything they've done that in Boston of all places they couldn't fix that situation... Just defies all logic and reason.
