This movie clearly was written and directed by someone who revels in "silly," and he found three excellent actors to help him bring it to the screen with verve. So if you are looking for a bit of fun, Red Notice is a swell choice. And, yes, I would watch the sequel, too.

A good movie I have watched it more than once and it's still good.

I thought it was awesome, and I loved the ending.

Entertaining, doesn't take itself too seriously, but far fetched with gaping plot holes that leave the audience not too concerned because once again it's a sort of happy-go-lucky film. Ryan Reynolds is amazing as usual and the Rock displays some acting prowess more than usual. I can understand the HUGE discrepancy here between critic and audience scores. I found it watchable and enjoyable, albeit imperfect. It's a fantasy along the lines of a Dan Brown story, so the details don't matter that much, the the writers / producers / director do a good job of keeping the momentum flowing. All in all, a light, enjoyable film.

Red Notice: A Fun, But Forgettable Action romp Red Notice boasts a star-studded cast: Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot. The high-octane action takes them globetrotting on a treasure hunt. So, is it a must-watch? Let's break it down. The Good: The Cast: The chemistry between Johnson's straight-laced agent, Reynold's wisecracking thief, and Gadot's ruthless villain is entertaining. Their banter is full of laughs, and they hold their own in the action sequences. Action & Adventure: The fight scenes are well-choreographed and exciting, and the exotic locations provide a beautiful backdrop. If you're looking for a popcorn flick with non-stop action, Red Notice delivers. The Not-So-Good: Plot: The story is predictable, borrowing elements from heist films you've seen before. There's a twist or two, but it won't leave you guessing for long. Forgettable: While enjoyable in the moment, the film lacks the kind of depth or originality that makes a lasting impression. Overall: Red Notice is a fun, action-packed adventure that won't disappoint if you're looking for a mindless escape. The cast is great, the action is exciting, but the plot is forgettable. It's a great choice for a movie night when you just want to turn your brain off and enjoy the ride. Recommendation: If you enjoy action comedies with a stellar cast, check it out. If you're looking for something more intricate or thought-provoking, you might want to pass.

Really fun movie. I dont like Ryan, but they both did a good job. A lot of funny moments and good action. Really a great watch. It was not meant to be some serious action movie. Once again the critics blew it. Everything they hate I like. It is definitely worth watching. Enjoyed it.

Red Notice is actually a really fun time. My two favorite movie genres are Action/Adventure and Comedy, and my two favorite actors are The Rock and Ryan Reynolds, who I never get tired of seeing even in roles like these where they basically just play themselves, so this movie was kind of made for me. I love seeing these Indiana Jones style action packed globe trotting adventures, and this handles all of that really well. Like I said before, The Rock and Ryan Reynolds are my two favorite actors, and they are just as charming as ever, and they have really good chemistry. Gal Gadot is in this too, and she was also as charming as always, and this was a really interesting role to see her in, as it's a more villainous role. I thought the action in this was really great, and there are some really fun chase sequences. The humor in this also worked really well for, as I am a big fan Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson's styles of comedy. The film is far from perfect, and I can kind of understand why a lot of people didn't like this film. This is a very unoriginal film, and the film does kind of get repetitive as they go from one action sequence to another trying to find and play keepaway with this macguffin. Like I said before, I personally don't get tired of seeing Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds play themselves as much as some people do, but I would still like to see them do something different in this genre. There's also a twist that doesn't ruin the film at all, it just wasn't the best twist I've seen. This was a really fun time, with a very likeable cast, and I wouldn't mind seeing this become a franchise, although I do hope they can be more original.
