Movie is BlockBuster, Only bad & problem is casting Prabhas for β€œWWEβ€”Rock”, suits for movie Hero.

At first, I thought it was a boring movie, but I still continue to watch it. It was a amazing (thriller & action) movie. Love it :)

This movie screams potential but fails due to genuinely poor direction. The concept and idea of this world, the characters and the story the takes place are fascinating but when watching it feels like an incoherent info dump. Too many characters are given names and backstories, for them to never be referenced, or utilised as essential characters in the story and you eventually lose track of who is who. Though Prabhas brings his star power to the role the action scenes barely saw any action and are mainly just dramatic posing. After a single punch, he would pose intensely for about three seconds for all of this to repeat again until all the goons were defeated. Another major problem with the film is the dialogue. Every line is trying to be delivered as an inspirational movie quote, and seems to have significant plot value, there are very few lines of casual dialogue ultimately leading to the info dump aspect of the film. At times the film feels like wasted potential and lacks substance, though intrigued by the world and the fictional ideas the film presents I am interested to see where part two heads, no matter how poorly directed it too may be.

Prabhas was pure magic. All I can say is that I'm counting down the days for the release of Salaar Part 2!

"Smoking Causes Coughing" moves unhurriedly from moment to moment, which makes its perpetually strung-out jokes even funnier. awesome movies i watch three times in one days Read More

If you expect the same flavor of machoism fromΒ K.G.F., then you might be disappointed, instead prepare yourselves to witness a slow, yet grand and epic narrative with brilliantly executed action sequences.

    Wonderful Storytelling.

Only loved Prithviraj Sukumaran's acting. Story was a big let down. World building and world building and world building, with zero build ups being tied up. Even though it had no connection with KGF, the expectation was sky high because of KGF's director Prasanth Neel and Hombale films. Saalar is nothing like KGF. KGF built the world and also had a very good narrative and good climax for a "Part 1". The immense style and brooding character of Rocky potrayed by Yash in KGF was exceptional but I don't think Prabhas was able to bring that sort of charisma into his character in Saalar. Sorry to say this, but after Bahubali, looking at Prabhas, I feel like he is overrated. He did not gave me any vibe of "Alpha" in a Jurassic Park!
