Steven is at the top of his filmmaking talent with this film. One of the only films I've seen such as this that deserves its lengthy runtime.

To simply put, the film will leave you very proud for watching it and praises you, even with its bothering tragedies; it thanks you for being a witness of a truthful cautionary tale. With Spielberg's impossible direction between making two films released at the same year, he made two of the best films of that very same year and all time, along with regards to Neeson, Fiennes, and Kingsley for their masterful manipulation of their emotions to move us audiences.

The most TRAUMATIC film ever watched.

Schindler's List is one of the best movies of all time. It achieved something many films cannot. It's more than 3 hours long, but it keeps the viewer's attention. In the beginning it starts off as an interesting story with interesting characters. By the middle, the film starts to get brutal and heavy. While in the end it becomes incredibly emotional. The movie is shot beautifully, the fact that it was shot black and white is perfect, because it captures the feel of the 40s. The acting performances are outstanding from Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley. While watching this film I wasn't thinking how great the acting was, because who I saw were characters, they felt like characters and not actors. It's no question that this is one of the o best films of all time.

One of Steven Spielberg's best films. I cried inside with this movie. Highly recommended.

One kind of expects the movie to be better, given its status as Spielberg's opus and the subject matter, but its kind of unfocused and overlong. If you want a marathon mediation on the Holocaust, watch Shoah instead (a devastating, unforgetable, look at similar events that comes across as more searing and immediate). If you want better Spielberg, there are multiple options.

Schindlers List is a very emotional and moving film which depicts the true horrors of the holocaust. It focuses on a man called Oskar Schindler who is a German businessman who over the course of the film worries about his Jewish work force and attempts to save them. He is a really interesting character because at first he only cares about money and making a profit. He sees them as workers and nothing else. It's interesting to see how he changes over the course of the film and it's the subtleties like for eg his reactions to certain events that are the most impactful. He was using an horrific situation for his own self gain. Which leads him to saving loads of lives. This film is really well paced as well, considering it's 3 hours 15 minutes it never feels slow or that it's dragging. It film never looks away at the harsh reality of the events. With great and powerful performances this make it all the more real. It was a great decision to film it in black and white as it shows how bleak it was and how the feeling of hope wasn't present. It definitely is one of the most impactful world war II films. Definitely a must watch.

The BEST FILM ever made in Earth! The MOST DISTURBING film ever made in Earth! MASTER PIECE is an under statement for this epic!!! It is a crime if we don't see this movie before our death!!!

I understand the importance of the movie, but overall this movie is really boring. However, that being said, Liam Neeson should have won an Oscar just for that last scene where he breaks down because he thinks he could have saved more people.
