Some good twists and turns. Suspenseful and some good action. I liked the movie a lot. Once again the critics were wrong. If you want action aand twist and turns in the plot it is definitely a good watch.

Jake was supposed to be Special Force yet the pussy way he fought would make Jack Reacher ashamed to be associated with this numbskull. The film was absolutely dire.

Section 8 is a Hulu original movie that fails to deliver on any level. Despite promising a thrilling action-packed ride, the movie falls flat due to its terrible plot, lackluster acting, and amateurish screenplay. The movie attempts to move the plot forward at breakneck speed, but it feels rushed and disjointed, leaving the audience feeling confused and unsatisfied. The actors seem to be phoning it in, delivering stilted and wooden performances that do nothing to add to the movie's appeal. The biggest issue with Section 8 is its poorly written screenplay. The dialogue feels repetitive and uninspired, and the plot is filled with cliches and predictable twists. It's clear that the writers were trying to create a fast-paced action movie, but they failed to do so in a way that was engaging or enjoyable. Overall, I would not recommend watching Section 8. It's a forgettable movie that fails to deliver on its promises, and it's not worth the time or effort to watch.

It is an OK film to pass time but very predictable and poor acting. Some good play fight scenes.

Forgettable low budget action cheese. The cast do a great job with the limited screenplay. The cinematography is nice. Action choreography is ok but overall there is just very little here to add originality to this over saturated genre.

You probably don't need to go beyond the very first shot that says "Mosul, Afghanistan" to get an idea about the sheer ignorance with which this is made. What a waste.

To be honest, it's a movie you expect something very different when you watch the first minutes. I know it's just a damm movie, but there are some parts where you got yourself thinking: '' I can't believe he managed to do this or not do the obvious.'' Some takes feels a little bit disconnected from the following scene, cause after something happened, you feel like you lost a big part of what was going on before. On the shootout scenes i also felt strange as everything seems to be a very shallow like: ''hey, i'm seeing you, i can kill you right now, but instead, i'll take cover behind this tiny flower pot''. I liked the fist fight scenes more. I guess everything also felt very rushed, as this movie looks short for what it could present. Maybe they didn't have too much money to spend on. But if you're in your house and have nothing else to do, you will be able to entertain yourself with this.

A waste of some iconic acting talents. The directing was amateur hour with the abysmal slow-mo and faded flashbacks - and terrible cast direction. Most of the second-rate characters felt like it was their first acting gig, and I know they're better than that, so this is the perfect example of the director failing to direct his cast properly. Although Ryan Kwanten acted his heart out, he was poorly showcased from the directing to the writing, that was riddled with cheesy dialogue. The screenplay, even with the few entertaining twists and action scenes, was too generic and cliched, and lacked suspense, intrigue and thrills. I wanted to see more of Mickey Rourke, and I'm not even sure if Scott Adkins' character was needed, but he surely needed to be in this film much more to enhance the action. I feel he should've been cast for Kwanten's character, the entire backstory and current one would've been more believable and suspenseful had there been more fight scenes. There were far too many plot and technical issues, most fifth-grade drama class errors. Eg: the briefcase with maybe 5-6 rough stacks having 3 million in it was a joke. Never mind Lundgren's full-auto handgun with the endless ammo. If you're a fan of the iconic actors, it's an ok one-time watch if you're bored, just don't expect to see that much of most of them, or any decent non-generic story.
