A very good little movie.

When the movie around her threatens to spin into incoherence, Fry's gently winsome performance keeps us watching.

More mood piece than cohesive story, it's impressive chiefly in how McGuinness mirrors the desolate bleakness of the protagonists' lives with the parched cinematography of their surrounding landscape.

I liked it a lot more than I thought I would... Lucy Fry is an amazing actress. She brings so much to a very minimalist role.

She's Missing warrants your attention for its unpredictability, its contemplative mood, and strong performances.

... seems more concerned with atmosphere than plot, exploring familiar themes of sisterhood and spirituality while wandering as aimlessly as its protagonist.

Writer-director McGuiness...got Irish Film Board money to make this, and that was money flushed down an Irish drain. Whatever she was getting at, she doesn't really get at it.
