Afro-American Southern Gothic...With Vampires. Not re-watchable; no good lines. Overlong and pretentious. "30 Days of Night" (which this film borrows from)is better yet only gets 50% from RT. The reason why is not valid if it's entertainment you're looking for.

I’m shocked that this has such high ratings. This was a terrible movie. The writing was bad the acting was bad the vampire stuff was bad the ending scenes were bad, it was choppy and just simply bad.

Just great! Excellent acting by everyone involved. Creative, rich, and full of action. A wonderful mix of history, culture, drama, and the supernatural. Hard to explain, but very few errors.

Great modern vampire western drama. Watched it 3 times and gets better every time.

The first half is pretty good but then it becomes this generic horror flick once things start to happen. It's also a weird kink movie of sorts. Great music though.

This movie was soooo boring!! Nothing happened for a least an hour. The only entertaining part was the Irish guy. A good movie if you want to take a nap in the theater.

The movie is something we never asked for, but we really needed. Storytelling is fantastic.
