Sisu
audience Reviews
, 88% Audience Score- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsRidiculous plot armor, very cheesy, so unbelievable it is not entertaining. Rather pointless. I don't understand how it was rated so high.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA raw action movie with strikingly violent fire fights. Audience will witness almost all kinds of combat imaginable in WWII period. A fateful Finnish adaptation of world war 2 would provide a wasteland survival thriller of a very unique kind. Excellent choreography especially in the first half. Great work by the cast does justice to the well written story. Excellent audio effects that intensifies the tension. Great visuals and camera work. Remarkably flawless special effects. Sisu is a complete package of war action that would grab any audience's uninterrupted attention cause when the evil hunter become the hunted it's always a good time.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsSome nice photography and good sound, but it's basically just 91 minutes of blood, death, violence & gore.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsPure raw action! See it!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsCould this be John Wicks Grand Pappy?
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe only good thing about this movie? It's an excellent cure for insomnia. If you have trouble sleeping just watch "Sisu" and you'll be out like a light.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsKoja smejurija od filma , bata zajebo John Wicka
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsIt's not a bad movie but it was a little boring. I felt the pacing was OK, but it's a bit ridiculous and besides the one landmine throw, the violence was a bit silly whilst the tone was a serious action thriller. I wished they leaned into the silliness more but overall it was still fine
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsA quintessential dad flick, but a damn effective one. While the absolutely absurd action and sensationalized war imagery knock "Sisu" down a few pegs for me, it throws in just enough Tarantino-esque zaniness and impressive visuals to keep me invested. Though I couldn't quite suspend my disbelief to enjoy the film to its fullest, it remains a glorious tale of pride under oppression, boasting a digestable plot without bloated dialog. If you're a fan of over-the-top thrills, I'd recommend a watch.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThoroughly enjoyed this. Great action, beautiful landscapes and the right amount of dialogue.
