Incredible movie, action-packed, entertaining throughout.

A Nice move but nothing more then this

I watched this back in April when it was just released with my family and we all enjoyed it!

Better than the original and twice the action/comedy. This is heavily influenced by the games that inspired it and it works well.

Another shockingly well made film from the Blue Blur.

A second instalment based on the popular SEGA's eponymous video game in the 1990's and apparently jammed with a few hip-hop soundtracks from the era, Patrick Casey and Josh Miller reunited to co-write this comedy by introducing two more #hedgehog franchise characters, the red Knuckles and the yellow Tails, teaming up to aid their blue quilled justice hero #Sonic (voiced by the ever buoyant Ben Schwatz) to stop the returning Dr Robotnic aka "Eggman" (an insanely perky Jim Carrey) from abusing an ultimate relic gem for his own reality twist on the universe. With his new bald look and a pair of hideously huge mustache, Carrey effortlessly outdo all three animated casts and is the only scene stealer that consistently endured most audience to the end of the two-hour long action-adventure ride. From every punch line of his "piece-of-shitake" entrance to the "later haters" exit, not to mention trifling his obsessive French gay goat-milking assistant. Distributed by Paramount Pictures and available now in Dolby Digital. Recommended for Gen-X parents who'd come first to grip the moral of the story and tell their kids that, being a hero is about taking responsibility for other people, not protecting them. At metaverse, by the way, the SonicShiba community prides their token as inspired by the freedom loving Sonic hedgehog (and the independent Shiba Inu). Will this movie inspire a more creative project for the NFT marketplace?

With Sonic 1 bringing the blue hedgehog to the big screen, Sonic 2 is taking it a bit further, by introducing two more fan favourites! Tails is relatable in several ways with his backstory, and Knuckles is the "bad guy" with unclear goals. The overall story is well written, and the snowboard scene an hour into the movie, can be a referance to the Mario & Sonic Olympic Winter games (2009). The CGI is a bit questionable a few scenes (on the hedgehogs), but the performance of Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman is spot on! Hopefully he makes an exception from his retirement, and joins in on a trequel, as this movie-series has a lot of potential!
