The expectation was slightly higher with this one, so in that respect, a bit disappointing. Still an entertaining movie, filled with more action sequences than you can count, and more story building than one would like. The 2nd half is definitely much better than the first, but I still feel those who are fans of this franchise will not be totally thrilled about the final product.

This movie is childish. There is no realism in it. Casting is especially bad. Story and screenplay is below average. Music and song picturization is bad too. I couldn't find any good in this movie. Wastage of time.

Sooryvanshi is one of the most bombastic action films of all time. It was a nice breadth of fresh air after Akshay Kumar's back to back patriotic films. It has one of the most action heavy 3rd acts in film history and is topped by the great banter between the 3 heroes. It moves at a brisk pace feeling like a straight forward action movie while delivering on the patriotic side of things. The humor flows organically and generates good amount of laughter. The only problem is that the film doesn't bring anything new to the table and feels repetitive. But besides that a must watch for action fans.

Critics are so cracked. OMG. RT needs to show audience ratings alongside those ridiculous critics. This was amazing. First film I've seen of the series, am going to seek out the others. It was a pure action film +++ plus somehow they even managed to throw in some Bollywood sequences. Drama was on point. Story depth was on point. Romance was on point. The fresh (Indian) take on the action genre was very welcome - everything is getting so old in American rehash filmmaking, so difficult to be relevant. This film went from stone cold, to light, to action. Even a little fresh cheese every time a "hero" character entered the story, and there were multiple heroes. Well done.

Desperate for content during the pandemic and I have mostly enjoyed the non-cop Rohit Shetty movies in the past, so have this one a try despite my better judgement. I completely co-sign on everyone else's comments about how extremely offensive and anti-Muslim this film is. Plus, the complete comfort with police deciding you're guilty and killing anyone they want on the spot with zero consequences. It's horrifying. But beyond even all that, I really want to see the brief for Katrina's character. They took one of the most glamorous people in Bollywood, made her look like shit for 95% of the film. She has almost no rational motives or thought process during any of the proceedings and actually slightly smiles through a scene where a just-widowed cop wife pours her heart out to her. When she shows up with a bomb strapped to her, she has zero expression through the whole ordeal. WHAT IS HAPPENING?
